The Delhi government has approved multiple infrastructure projects to ease traffic congestion and improve road safety. A major initiative is a Rs 1,471.14 crore six-lane double-decker flyover along Mehrauli-Badarpur Road, featuring a metro corridor on the upper deck and a six-lane road below, expected to be completed by December 2027. Additionally, three projects include a new flyover on Janakpuri-Pankha Road and repairs to the Zakhira and Seelampur flyovers, addressing traffic bottlenecks and waterlogging issues. The projects aim to enhance traffic flow, reduce congestion, and improve commuter experience across Delhi.
