
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma distributed appointment letters to 284 candidates selected through the Combined Competitive Examination 2024 and five scientific officers for the Directorate of Forensic Science. This brings Assam's total government recruitment since 2021 to over 1,58,600 jobs, surpassing the target of one lakh jobs. The CM highlighted the government's commitment to transparent, merit-based recruitment without litigation and launched the Joint Mutual Transfer Orders under the Swagata Satirtha Portal 2.0. Additionally, 143 new vehicles were flagged off for the forest department to enhance operational efficiency and biodiversity protection.
