Ludhiana's Municipal Corporation Commissioner has mandated obtaining fire safety No Objection Certificates (NOCs) within 30 days for all commercial, educational, and industrial buildings. Failure to comply will result in fines up to Rs 50,000 and potential building sealing, as per the Fire Prevention and Fire Safety Act, 2012, and Punjab Fire and Emergency Service Act, 2024. The process for obtaining the NOC has been made available online to ensure resident safety and strict adherence to National Building Code standards.
