The Pakistan-flagged Aframax tanker Karachi, carrying crude oil from Abu Dhabi's Das Island, has become one of the few non-Iranian vessels to transit the Strait of Hormuz with its AIS tracker active since the recent Middle East conflict began. Shipping through Hormuz, a vital route for global oil exports, remains limited due to security concerns.
