Sharif Osman Hadi, a prominent figure of the July Uprising and spokesperson for Inqilab Moncho, died on December 18 in Singapore from injuries sustained on December 12. Hadi, who was shot during an election campaign in Dhaka and was a parliamentary candidate for the upcoming February 12 elections, was a key face of the protests that led to the ousting of Sheikh Hasina's government. Inqilab Moncho plans to hold a 'March for Justice' following his death.
