Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) is conducting a large-scale operation in Minneapolis to identify and arrest individuals involved in widespread fraud, particularly targeting daycare and healthcare facilities. The investigation, which has led to the arrest of 98 individuals, many of Somali descent, aims to recover taxpayer money. Attorney General Pam Bondi credited YouTuber Nick Shirley for bringing attention to the scale of fraud in Minnesota, stating that more prosecutions are expected.
