Delhi government has appointed district magistrates to 13 newly organized revenue districts, increasing the total from 11. Three new districts—Old Delhi, Central North, and Outer North—have been created, while Shahdara district was merged. Several AGMUT cadre IAS officers and DANICS officers have been assigned new roles as district magistrates and sub-divisional magistrates across these reorganized districts.
