
Former Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi completed his six-year term as a nominated Rajya Sabha member on March 16. Parliamentary records show Gogoi had 53% attendance, spoke once in debate, and did not submit questions or introduce bills. His nomination, six months after retirement, was the first for a former CJI, drawing some debate over propriety.
