A Srinagar court has ordered the framing of charges against National Conference president Farooq Abdullah and others in the alleged Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) financial irregularities case involving Rs 112 crore in grants from 2002 to 2011. The court scheduled the charge framing for March 12, noting evidence from two approvers. It rejected the Enforcement Directorate's request to add charges, ruling that the case is investigated and prosecuted by the CBI and that the ED lacks legal standing to intervene without a predicate offence.
