The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has summoned former MLA P.V. Anvar for interrogation on December 31 in Kochi regarding an alleged misappropriation of loans from the Kerala Financial Corporation (KFC). The ED is investigating a total non-performing asset of approximately ₹22.3 crore related to loans granted to firms associated with Mr. Anvar. Raids were previously conducted on Mr. Anvar's properties in November. Mr. Anvar is currently associated with the All India Trinamool Congress.
