Bihar Cabinet Approves Indrapuri Reservoir Project and Urban Development Plans in Patna

The Bihar Cabinet approved the construction of the Indrapuri Reservoir Project after resolving a long-standing water-sharing dispute with Jharkhand through a draft agreement endorsed by the Central Water Commission. This project aims to enhance irrigation across eight districts. Additionally, the cabinet sanctioned multiple urban development initiatives in Patna, including a comprehensive master plan for Rajbanshi Nagar and Shastri Nagar, underground electricity cabling, and land acquisition for the Patna Ring Road, reflecting a focus on infrastructure modernization.
