The Panvel Municipal Corporation (PMC) will conduct a mandatory three-day training program from December 29-31 for 4,205 election officials. This training aims to ensure fair and transparent civic polls by covering staff responsibilities, the Model Code of Conduct, voting and counting procedures, and EVM handling. The PMC has established 660 polling stations across 20 wards, with 725 teams formed for election duty. Attendance is compulsory, with strict action threatened for non-compliance.
