Barse Deva, a high-ranking commander of the People's Liberation Guerrilla Army (PLGA) Battalion No. 1 and considered a mastermind behind several lethal ambushes, has surrendered to Telangana Police. Deva, from Sukma district in Chhattisgarh, commanded the elite fighting unit of the CPI (Maoist) party.
