Rajasthan will launch a large-scale joint operation against illegal mining, transportation, and storage activities across 20 Aravalli districts from December 29, 2025, to January 15, 2026. The operation, reflecting the state government's zero-tolerance policy, will involve coordinated action by the Mines, Revenue, Police, Transport, and Forest departments under district collector supervision. Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma emphasized an "action mode" approach, directing officials to ensure effective results and complete eradication of illegal mining.
