India has commissioned its second MH-60R Seahawk helicopter squadron, INAS 335 'Ospreys', at INS Hansa, Goa. This multi-role maritime platform, dubbed a "Flying Frigate," significantly enhances the Indian Navy's capabilities, particularly on the Western Seaboard. The MH-60R is equipped for anti-submarine and anti-surface warfare, surveillance, and search and rescue, bolstering India's maritime dominance and interoperability with the US.
