BRS Working President KT Rama Rao (KTR) criticized the Telangana government's HYDRA drive, alleging selective demolition of the poor's houses while sparing illegal constructions of influential leaders. He challenged Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to first address alleged illegal buildings linked to Congress leaders before targeting underprivileged homes. KTR also accused the Congress government of attempting to illegally acquire land belonging to Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU), calling it a 'serial land snatcher' targeting educational institutions for real estate interests.
