Uttar Pradesh is moving forward with plans for a Water Metro service on the Gomti River in Lucknow, following the presentation of a feasibility study. Similar initiatives are planned for other locations across the state, including the Yamuna, Ramgarh Tal, Surha Tal, and the Ganga. The roadmap involves navigational aids, traffic management studies, and environmental assessments before a detailed project report and tendering.
