Israeli special forces conducted an overnight operation in eastern Lebanon to locate the remains of Ron Arad, an Israeli Air Force navigator missing since 1986 after his aircraft was shot down. The search, focused on a graveyard in the Bekaa Valley, found no evidence of Arad's remains. The operation triggered clashes and subsequent Israeli airstrikes in the area, resulting in at least 41 deaths and 40 injuries.
