Union Minister Suresh Gopi has stated that Kerala will "definitely" receive an All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). Speaking to reporters, Gopi also hinted at another significant central government project for the state, mentioning that Home Minister Amit Shah has allocated it. He indicated that details about these projects, including a previously proposed forensic laboratory that was "eliminated," would be revealed later. Gopi emphasized that the AIIMS establishment would occur organically and not due to individual efforts, referencing his long-standing advocacy for the project since 2015.
