Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has expressed strong support for Congress leader Rahul Gandhi as the Leader of the Opposition and head of the INDIA bloc, dismissing speculation about leadership changes. Abdullah stated no formal discussions on leadership have occurred within the alliance and emphasized Gandhi's consistent efforts in challenging the BJP government. While acknowledging veteran leader Mani Shankar Aiyar's personal opinion favoring regional leaders like Mamata Banerjee, Abdullah affirmed that any leadership decisions will be collectively made by the INDIA bloc.
