Government Works to Repatriate Indians Stranded Amid Middle East Conflict

Union Minister Pralhad Joshi stated that the Indian government is actively working to ensure the safe return of Indians stranded amid the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, describing the situation as volatile and turbulent. He noted that Kannada people and others, including JD(S) MLC Bhoje Gowda and his family in Dubai, are affected. Joshi highlighted past successful evacuations and emphasized continuous efforts despite challenges like flight cancellations and unsafe flying conditions. Meanwhile, the Congress criticized the government's handling of the crisis, questioning the foreign policy approach.
