Fifteen Indian performers who attended a Holi cultural event in New Zealand last month have been found to have overstayed their visas, according to Immigration New Zealand. The event was organised by the Delhi-based CD Foundation with support from the Indian Consulate in Auckland. Bollywood singer Shibani Kashyap, who performed solo at the event, has denied involvement in the visa issues and has initiated legal action against media outlets linking her to the controversy. Investigations into the visa overstays are ongoing.
