Tamil Nadu CM Vijay to Visit Delhi for Meetings with PM Modi and National Leaders
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay is making his first official visit to New Delhi on May 27, 2026, since assuming office on May 10 after his party's historic electoral win. During the visit, he is scheduled to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi, senior Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, and several Union ministers. Vijay is expected to seek additional financial assistance and approval for key state projects, and will inaugurate a statue of poet-saint Thiruvalluvar at Jawaharlal Nehru University. Senior state officials and cabinet members will accompany him.
