India Commits Over USD 175 Million Aid to Palestine, Supports Two-State Solution
India has provided over USD 175 million in development and humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people, including a recent USD 5 million pledge to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA). Indian Ambassador to the UN, Parvathaneni Harish, emphasized India's support for a negotiated two-State solution establishing a sovereign, independent Palestine alongside Israel. He highlighted the fragile humanitarian situation in Gaza, marked by civilian casualties, displacement, and shortages of essential supplies.
