Commissioner Milind Bharambe stated a focus on women's, children's, and elderly safety, with special attention to hotels and farmhouses. The police will enforce zero tolerance on narcotics and conduct "nakabandi" checkpoints with breathalyzer tests to prevent drunk driving.
