A Delhi court has discharged two individuals, Abdul Subhan Qureshi and Ariz Khan, accused of conspiring to revive the banned Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) and Indian Mujahideen (IM). The court found insufficient admissible evidence to establish their membership in these organizations or a conspiracy against India's sovereignty. The chargesheet primarily relied on inadmissible disclosure statements, lacking concrete proof to raise grave suspicion. Both men were arrested in 2018 and remain in custody for other pending cases.
