Kerala Cabinet Approves Land Leases for Memorial Institutes of Former Ministers

The Kerala Cabinet approved leasing land for memorial institutes honoring former ministers K M Mani and Kodiyeri Balakrishnan. A 25-cent plot in Kowdiar, Thiruvananthapuram, was leased to the K M Mani Foundation, and 1.139 acres in Vadikkakathu, Thalassery, to the Kodiyeri Balakrishnan Memorial Academy of Social Sciences, both for 30 years. Amid reports of political talks between KC(M) and the opposition UDF, KC(M) chairman Jose K Mani affirmed continued alignment with the ruling LDF.
