Pakistan's Foreign Minister Engages in Talks with Saudi and Iran Amid Regional Conflict

Pakistan's Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar stated he engaged in shuttle communication with Saudi and Iranian leaders following the outbreak of war, emphasizing a mutual defence agreement with Saudi Arabia and efforts to prevent Saudi soil from being used against Iran. He highlighted Pakistan's active role in seeking to end the conflict and maintaining contact with multiple countries to protect millions of Pakistanis living abroad. Dar confirmed one Pakistani was killed in a UAE missile attack and noted that 792 nationals have returned from Iran, with a crisis management unit operating continuously to assist those affected.
