The Supreme Court questioned the National Investigation Agency (NIA) for relying on Kashmiri separatist leader Shabir Ahmed Shah's alleged inflammatory speeches from the 1990s while opposing his bail plea in a terror funding case. The NIA cited videos and incriminating emails found during a search of Shah's premises and witness statements. The trial has seen 34 witnesses examined, with protected witnesses to be heard next. The court scheduled further hearing for March 12, when Shah's counsel will present arguments.
