Arunachal Pradesh Cabinet Approves Education Reforms, Transfer Bill, and Administrative Measures

The Arunachal Pradesh Cabinet approved several measures including the Transfer and Posting of Employees of Education Department Bill, 2026, to replace the current transfer system with a transparent, technology-enabled process linked to an automated Teachers' Registry Portal. It also sanctioned recruitment rules for physical education teachers, granted professorships to government college teachers under UGC-aligned career advancement schemes, amended principal recruitment rules, and revised reservation policies for diploma and allied courses. Additionally, the Cabinet approved posts to strengthen financial administration and addressed pay parity and grade upgrades across departments.
