The Trinamool Congress (TMC) has revamped its district organization in West Bengal, appointing coordinators for assembly segments ahead of the 2026 state elections. This move aims to bolster poll preparedness across the state. New coordinators have been named for 34 segments, with some prominent leaders assigned to oversee specific areas. The party chairperson, Mamata Banerjee, guided the restructuring, which seeks to strengthen the TMC's electoral strategy.
