The city unit of Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) has condemned two Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) councillors for switching their allegiance to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). SAD president Charanjit Singh Villy accused the councillors of lacking ideology and principles, and alleged the BJP is using power and money to lure elected officials, undermining democratic traditions. The SAD plans to contest all seats in the upcoming Municipal Corporation elections.
