Violent clashes erupted between BJP and Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) workers in Dombivli, Maharashtra, amidst campaigning for the Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC) elections. The disputes, occurring over two consecutive nights, stemmed from allegations of cash distribution to voters. The conflict intensified in Panel No. 29, where both allied parties are directly contesting. Several individuals, including the husband of a BJP candidate and a Shiv Sena candidate, sustained injuries, with one seriously wounded. Police have increased security and registered cases following the incidents.
