Karnataka Cabinet Approves Health, Education, and Regional Development Projects

The Karnataka Cabinet approved multiple administrative and infrastructure projects across health, education, drinking water, and agriculture sectors. Key health initiatives include construction and upgrades of district and taluk hospitals in Kollegala, Udupi, Malur, and Puttur, with budgets ranging from Rs 41 crore to Rs 180 crore. Education plans involve establishing computer labs in 854 government and KGBV schools. The Cabinet also endorsed a report on addressing regional imbalance, which will influence the upcoming Budget speech, and approved the Karnataka Raitha Suraksha Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana starting 2026-27.
