A new security and public utility camp has been established in Chhattisgarh's Bijapur district to counter Maoist activity and promote development. The camp, located in Dodimarka village, will serve as a forward operating base for security forces, aiming to curb Maoist movements along the Chhattisgarh-Maharashtra border and facilitate infrastructure projects like road construction. This initiative is part of ongoing operations that have led to Maoist surrenders, arrests, and killings, with 29 new camps established in Bijapur since 2024.
