
Air Marshal Nagesh Kapoor assumed the role of Vice Chief of the Air Staff of the Indian Air Force on Thursday, succeeding Air Marshal Narmdeshwar Tiwari. Previously, Kapoor served as the Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the South Western Air Command. Commissioned in 1986, he is an experienced fighter pilot with extensive flying hours and has held various command and instructional appointments throughout his nearly 40-year career.
