India's Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has firmly denied claims made on the US-based One America News Network that Indian ports are being used by the US Navy for operations against Iran. The MEA described these reports as baseless and fabricated, emphasizing India's neutral stance amid escalating US-Iran tensions following a US submarine attack on an Iranian warship near Sri Lanka. The MEA also highlighted its priority on the safety of Indian nationals in the Gulf region and urged caution against spreading misinformation.
