UP Government Disburses Rs 900 Crore to 90,000 Urban PMAY-U Beneficiaries

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced the disbursement of Rs 900 crore to 90,000 urban beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Urban 2.0, aiming to accelerate housing construction for low and middle-income families. The state has sanctioned over 21 lakh urban houses since 2014, with more than Rs 44,471 crore released. Adityanath criticized the previous Samajwadi Party government for prioritizing family interests over housing for the poor, emphasizing the BJP's commitment to all residents.
