A Communist Party of India (Marxist) MLA in Thiruvananthapuram claims a newly elected BJP councillor has asked him to vacate his office space within the Corporation building. The MLA stated the councillor cited inadequate facilities for her own office as the reason for the request. He alleged this demand, made directly by a councillor to an MLA, resembles "Bulldozer Raj" tactics. The MLA acknowledged his office uses some additional space but maintained it was allotted on rent and that the procedure for eviction requires a formal notice.
