Jharkhand Cabinet Approves VB-G RAM G Scheme and RIMS-2 Hospital Expansion
The Jharkhand cabinet approved the implementation of the Viksit Bharat-Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin) scheme, directing the rural development department to create additional jobs for particularly vulnerable tribal groups. It also cleared 27 proposals, including Rs 4,189.41 crore for RIMS-2 hospital expansion in Ranchi, with IIM Ranchi as Centre of Excellence and XISS conducting impact assessment. The cabinet approved hosting the National Stakeholder Consultation 2026 and setting up temporary outposts for the Shravani Mela in Deoghar.
