Karnataka High Court Temporarily Stays Probe Against Sri Sri Ravi Shankar in Land Encroachment Case

The Karnataka High Court on January 13 temporarily stayed the investigation against Art of Living founder Sri Sri Ravi Shankar in a land encroachment case linked to government lands in Bengaluru's Kaggalipura village. The court noted no prima facie allegations against him and directed the probe to remain stayed until the next hearing on January 21. The FIR followed a 2023 public interest litigation alleging encroachment, which Ravi Shankar has denied, asserting he owns no land there.
