After nearly 40 years, the Delhi government has reintroduced electric double-decker buses as a heritage tourism initiative. Flagged off by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta from Vijay Chowk, the service offers fixed-route tours of central Delhi landmarks including Bharat Mandapam, the National War Memorial, and the new Parliament complex. The buses seat over 63 passengers, feature open-top decks for panoramic views, and include onboard guides. Tickets are priced at Rs 500 for adults and Rs 300 for children, aiming to provide a sustainable, curated sightseeing experience.
