A special NIA court in Srinagar has issued a proclamation against businessman Mubeen Ahmad Shah and architect Tony Ashia, among others, in a case involving anti-national propaganda and secessionist misinformation. The proclamation, issued under Section 82 of the Cr.PC, directs the accused to appear in court by January 31, 2026, or face property attachment. The case, filed by Counter Intelligence Kashmir, pertains to alleged conspiracies under the UAPA and IPC, with officials stating the accused are absconding.
