Charges are set to be framed on January 3 against seven individuals accused in the Zubeen Garg death case. The accused, including individuals and security officers, will appear virtually before the Sessions Judge's court. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma called Garg's death an irreplaceable loss and assured justice, announcing the appointment of a Special Public Prosecutor and plans to approach the Gauhati High Court for a special court to expedite proceedings.
