A video showing people throwing Molotov cocktails, widely shared as footage of violent protests in Iran, has been verified as unrelated and originating from Greece in November 2025. The footage depicts unrest following a rap concert in Thessaloniki, where about 50 individuals caused disturbances, leading to police intervention and arrests. Social media posts falsely linked this video to ongoing Iranian protests, but fact-checks confirm it is not from Iran.
