Telangana CM Requests Special Officers to Resolve Defence Land and Sainik School Issues

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy urged senior Army officials to appoint Special Officers to address pending issues, including defence land allotment and the sanction of Sainik Schools. He highlighted Telangana's exclusion from Sainik School sanctions over the past decade and requested shifting the Southern Command Centre headquarters to Hyderabad. The Chief Minister emphasized the state's readiness to cooperate with the Armed Forces and noted the allocation of 3,000 acres in Vikarabad for a Navy radar station. Discussions took place during a Civil-Military Liaison Conference attended by senior officials.
