Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch and Rajouri districts saw a decrease in terror incidents in 2025, attributed to intensified counter-operations and increased public cooperation. Security forces neutralized four Pakistani terrorists, busted hideouts, and recovered significant arms and ammunition. The region also achieved success against narco-terrorism, seizing large quantities of heroin and dismantling drug trafficking networks. Over 4,192 cordon and search operations were conducted, alongside actions against terror financing and preventive measures.
