A police complaint for abetment of suicide has been filed against the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar and Bengal's Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Manoj Kumar Agarwal. The complaint was lodged by the son of an 82-year-old man who allegedly died by suicide after his name was omitted from the draft voter list. The deceased's family claims severe mental stress and humiliation led to his death. Police are investigating the complaint, which has been forwarded to the Government Railway Police.
