Reports are being sought from civic authorities regarding candidates elected without opposition, particularly in Kalyan Dombivli, Pimpri Chinchwad, Jalgaon, and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. The SEC aims to ensure fair electoral practices after complaints from Congress, Janata Dal (S), and AAP about candidates being unlawfully prevented from filing nominations.
