Sena (UBT) Alleges Corruption in Maharashtra Urban Development Bodies, Seeks SIT Probe

Shiv Sena (UBT) legislator Anil Parab accused agencies under Maharashtra's Urban Development Department, led by Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, of widespread corruption causing revenue losses of hundreds of crores. He highlighted irregularities in CIDCO, BMC, and Ulhasnagar Municipal Corporation, including illegal quarries in Navi Mumbai, cost escalations in road projects, and issues in the Navi Mumbai International Airport and BMC housing schemes. Parab demanded a Special Investigation Team probe, while the government is expected to respond to these allegations.
